Whether you are a freelancer or in a newsroom, pitching story ideas is a core skill for journalists and content producers. This course takes you through the basics of how to pitch, from developing ideas, building source relationships and networks, refining and selecting ideas and how to present them so your story gets picked.
This course is aligned to unit standard 117545: Present journalistic story ideas, which will earn you 5 credits for which you will get a statement of results from the MICT Seta.
